About Us

Casa Brindisa brings the familiar and popular tapas menu of our Borough market tapas to Kensington: padrón peppers, battered cod, Catalan spinach, prawns in garlic and many more. Although all the Brindisa Tapas Kitchens will share many dishes, they will feature an individual variety at any one time.

Casa Brindisa benefits from a delicatessen in the basement and will be offering the widest range of Brindisa’s Spanish cheeses of all the sites.

There is a Jamonería on the ground floor, making a full range of cured hams and charcuterie available both on the menu and to the shopper.

Casa Brindisa is a place with many spaces, hence its name. There is a bar area, informal tapas area, ham carving counter and a room with seating, giving you full view of the open kitchen bar. Casa should evoke an interest in food and the making of food, be it at home or on the land.

For the last twenty years, Brindisa, an adventurous food importer, has sourced some of the finest foods from Spain. These are available to professional buyers across the country and also at Brindisa shops in Exmouth & Borough markets. With the opening of Tapas Brindisa in 2004, Monika Linton, who founded Brindisa in 1988, realised a long awaited dream: that of working with the creative flair of José Pizarro and our growing team of chefs, to create our own place to serve Brindisa ingredients. Casa Brindisa enjoys the same heritage of fine producers behind its foods and a modern outlook on tapas cooking from the kitchen.
